Three tools, in this order, cover most of what a small business page needs.
How to get the most from these tools
Tools tell you what to fix. Real improvements come from doing the work on your own pages.
1. Pick one page
Start with the page that matters most — usually your homepage or your main service page. Fixing one page properly beats tweaking twenty.
2. Check, then fix
Run the page through the SERP preview and on-page checker, then fix the red items first. Most take minutes in WordPress, Shopify or Wix.
3. Measure in Search Console
Google Search Console (free) shows the searches you appear for. Re-check in 2–6 weeks — SEO changes take time to show up.
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about these tools and what they can (and can’t) do.
Are these SEO tools really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no trial and no usage limit. Kit SEO earns money from clearly labelled affiliate links in our software guides, not from these tools.
Is my data private?
Yes. Every tool runs inside your own browser. Text, keywords and URLs you enter are not sent to our servers. The SEO notepad and launch checklist save only to your own browser so you can come back later.
Will these tools get my site to rank?
No tool can guarantee rankings. These tools help you spot problems and write clearer pages. What moves rankings over time is helpful content based on real experience, a fast and mobile-friendly site, and links and reviews from real customers and partners.
Do I still need Google Search Console?
Yes — it is free and it is the only place to see the real searches your site appears for, your clicks and any indexing problems. Use these tools to improve pages, and Search Console to see the results.
How accurate are the SERP preview and traffic estimates?
They are close approximations. Google changes its layout often, and real click-through rates vary with ads, maps and AI answers on the page. Use them as a guide, then confirm with Search Console data.
Can I suggest a tool?
Please do. Send us a message with what you need and we will consider adding it.
